The neighborhood is the historical down town of the City of Buenos aires, which summarizes the expression of the Hispanic urbanism, in the traditional Avenida de Mayo, the Avenida 9 de Julio and Diagonal Sur. The neighborhood had a bull square, with capacity for 2000 people, it was located in what it´s now called the Avenida Belgrano and the Sin, happiness, and fragrance street (now a days no longer in existence) but it would be located on the south side of the building of public´s affairs, en the Avenida 9 de julio. | | It was demolished in the year 1800, due to the constant conflict it brought to the neighbors. The theatres "Federación", "de la Victoria", Onrubia, lately known as Maravillas y una media docena más (Marvel, and a half dozen more), clearly speak of the neighbor´s activity. It was also practiced with passion the "cock´s fight".
