Las Caņitas

Las Caņitas is currently one of the hottest spots of the city. The main attraction is the famous strip of bars and restaurants on Baez Street that offer patrons a wide variety of traditional and gourmet fare.

Las Caņitas is located between the Palermo and Belgrano neighborhoods, in the Palermo Woods area.

In the late 1990’s, Las Caņitas underwent extensive renovation and real estate development. Presently, the apartments in Las Caņitas are located in modern and luxurious buildings overlooking the woods, lakes and rivers of Palermo.

Tourist Attractions in Las Caņitas

Aside from the bar and restaurant strip in Las Caņitas, tourists can browse and visit many high-end boutiques and hair salons, which usually remain open well into the night.

In recent years, many new boutique hotels, bars and cafés have also opened.

Some people consider La Imprenta as an individual neighborhood, but it is actually part of the Belgrano district, just as Las Caņitas is part of Palermo.

The La Imprenta neighborhood is home to upscale cafés, jewelry shops and exclusive fashion boutiques. It is an ideal place for shopping or for just spending the afternoon.

The La Imprenta area is located around the intersection of Maure and Miguelete streets.
